Home Page changes

After launching our current campaign, I noticed that we were getting some feedback from those who came to our PURL/Mini-Site, and had also gone to our webpage. That feedback was almoste entirely "Wow, we are a direct marketing agency, a printer, etc. and we do the exact same thing that you do."

I had a ton of fantasy conversations in my head, most of them starting with "No. No you don’t. You are flat out wrong. Not even close".  I realised how unhelpful a response that would have been, but I was tired. Tired of people thinking we were printers, print broakers, a DM Agency, etc. I wanted to grab them by the lapels and scream "We are SOFTWARE, and we are JUST TRYING TO HELP YOU, I SWEAR!

So, I changed the Home Page. Actually, Brittany did, but you know what I mean. It was not their fault at all, it was ours. Mine. Mia culpa, mia culpa maxima! When I sat down and read the web page, it read EXACTLY like we were, in fact a service bureau, or a printer, or one of the two pretending to be a software company, but…well, not really. So, I was getting exactly the response I deserved, even though it was not the response I wanted.

Take a look at the new wording- Simple, direct- BOOM! Software as a Service. BAM! We work with your Print Vendor "ZAM!", we work with your Agency "SPLAT"! (I am having a very 60’s Batman moment).

Let me know what you think….because if this doesn’t work, I am going to go with clanging pots together at the next DMA show and chanting "We are not a Printer, we help you work with your Printer better. We are not an Agency, we help you manage your Agency….etc"
