June 12th is "Avoid Owls Day" in Eltuvia, where everyone hides inside to make sure that they are not scooped up by these rampaging feathered members of the bird kingdom, and play chess.  As such, minimal typing is allowed, and only to express regret for those lost in the past year to these faux-wise menaces, or to let others know that they will be off line until tomorrow.
